Ex-protection products and complex systems
Cortem Group's customized solutions allow you to safely distribute and control electricity in classified areas with risk of explosion.
Thanks to a proven expertise and over 50 years of experience, Cortem Group designs and manufactures special solutions such as electrical panels for lighting, distribution, signalling, motive power, motor control valves systems and panel boards according to customer’s specification.
They are manufactured with junction boxes in low copper content aluminium alloy, in stainless steel or in glass reinforced polyester equipped with differently adjusted switches and command, control, signal and measuring electrical and electronic devices. They are provided completely wired, ready‐to‐use and, in case of use of aluminium alloy junction boxes, finished with epoxy powder paint suitable for marine and corrosive environments.
They can be manufactured in ‘Ex d’ IIC, IIB, ‘Ex de’ methods of protection, watertight, with single or double front, complete with canopy and lighting devices, with a structure in hot dip galvanised steel or in stainless steel. They are suitable for indoor or outdoor installation in chemical, petrochemical, refining plants and in any other industrial process with a potentially explosive atmosphere due to the presence of gas, vapors and flammable dusts.
