Two years after the certification of FlowEx lighting fixtures, Cortem Group has tested and certified improvement solutions for the LED board of this product launched on the market last year.

LED technology, which compared to the hundred or more years of life of incandescent bulbs and fluorescent tubes has only gained the attention of the general public for about ten years, sees continuous and rapid technological improvements.

Cortem Group has not missed the opportunity to improve FlowEx lighting fixtures, not through the adoption of a more performing component, such as an LED with a higher lumen flux, but by perfecting the thermal and heat transmission aspect of the circuit board on which the LED is mounted.

A lower thermal resistance between LED and external air has allowed a facilitated thermal flow and, consequently, better maximum surface temperatures and temperature classes for all Flowex sizes.
