Cortem Group expands the range of obstruction warning lighting equipment with the medium intensity XLFE-MIA type A series intended for illuminating obstacles with height between 45 and 100 meters in the absence of ICAO painting. Here below its main features:

• white color with an intensity greater than 20,000 candles in daytime operation and greater than 2,000 candles in nighttime operation
  
• flashing operation, standard at 20 fpm, upon request at 40 fpm
  
• complies with EN/IEC 60079-28 standard (“op is” protection)
  
• complies with ICAO annex 14 for aviation obstruction warning lights of medium-intensity type A (corresponding to the FAA type of initials L-865)
  
• designed for Zone 1 with an ‘Ex db’ optical source
  
• designed to avoid any type of optical error typical of the glass globes
  
• lamp body in aluminium finished with anodising treatment, it performs both the function of explosion protection and heat sink, thus avoiding the use of resin-coated optics, which are subject to deterioration over time
  
• control panel power supply which allows to reduce maintenance operations, to manage the lighting equipment failures and the eventual switching on of the spare indicators, the synchronisation between different control panels also via cable or GPS technology
