The FLOWEX series lighting fixtures can be equipped, upon request, with a mechanical protection system (cage) for installation in particularly harsh places in order to protect the equipment from accidental external shocks and impacts.

The IK 10 protection level, tested and certified according to IEC/EN 62262 Standard, guarantees resistance against shocks with an impact energy of up to 20 J (Joule), i.e. capable of resisting an object with a mass of 5 kg from a height of 0.4m.

The Flowex mechanical protection system is made of AISI 304 stainless steel which ensures corrosion resistance and long-lasting protection.
